Dropped these on my bar for deadlifts and the plates hardly bounce at all, which is exactly what I wanted on a garage floor. The collars slide on smooth and the weight is spot on. Only gripe is they're a bit loud when they settle, but that's minor.
After two years of weekly cleans and snatches, these plates barely show a scratch and the center inserts still fit snug on the bar. Weight tolerance feels tight too — my pairs read almost identical on the scale.
Dead-bounced these on a platform and the rubber barely scuffed, which says a lot for the price. The steel insert sits flush so they slide on the bar clean without wobble. Sets in multiple weights made it easy to build out my rack over a couple months.
