Wasn't sure 9mm would be enough cushion for dropped dumbbells, but it's held up fine over a few months of daily lifting. The flecked surface hides chalk dust and scuffs way better than plain black would.
Unrolled this in my garage and the black fleck finish hides dust and chalk marks way better than I expected. It’s got just enough give under my squat rack that the plates don’t clang around, but still feels solid for burpees.
Unrolled this in my garage and the black fleck pattern hides dust way better than my old plain mats. My barbell drops don’t dent it, and the rubber smell faded within a couple of days. Solid buy for the price per square foot.
