Swapping out the stock pad for this wider one finally gave my shoulders somewhere to sit during bench press. The surface is noticeably more stable when I'm pressing heavy, and setup took maybe ten minutes.

The extra width makes such a difference on chest day—I feel locked in on every rep now, and the foam is dense enough that my elbows don't dig in like they used to. Took about ten minutes to swap and it hasn't budged since.

Was a little nervous about swapping pads on my bench, but the install was straightforward and they feel rock solid under heavy presses. The wider surface really lets me set my shoulders comfortably without that edge digging in. Definitely notice improved stability on my heavier sets.
