The Equalizer™ Urethane-Coated Plate Sets from REP Fitness provide a range of weight options for your home gym workouts. These plate sets are available in the following total weight configurations:
Loaded up the 175 lb set for squats and deadlifts and the plates slide on the bar with zero slop. The urethane finish wipes clean after chalky sessions, and there's barely any clanking between reps.
The urethane coating barely makes a sound when I set the bar down, which my downstairs neighbors probably appreciate. Loaded up the 175 lb set for deadlifts and the plates fit snug on the sleeve with almost no wobble.
I've been using the urethane plates for about two months of deadlifts and squats, and the coating barely shows any scuffs compared to my old iron set. They load cleanly on the bar and the 175 lb setup covers everything I need at home.
