The Apollo™ Base from REP Fitness is a rack attachment designed for home gym setups. It serves as a foundational component within the Apollo series, offering support for compatible rack systems.
Took a chance on this as a foundation piece and the weld quality is noticeably clean, no sharp edges anywhere. It’s solid and stable once bolted to the rack, exactly what you want for a base that’s taking daily abuse.
Bolt holes lined up perfectly with my existing rack on the first try, so setup took maybe ten minutes total. The steel feels solid and the finish looks like it'll hold up fine to daily use. This base does exactly what it's supposed to do.
Finally got this and I have to say, the texture on the base is much nicer than I expected—grippy enough to keep my tech stable on my desk. Charges through the cable provided in about 40 minutes, which is solid.
