The rubber coating has a nice firm grip that doesn't slip even when my palms get sweaty mid-set. I've dropped these a few times on the floor and they don't chip or scuff, plus the hex shape keeps them from rolling under the couch. Solid pick for the price.
The hex shape is a game changer—no more chasing weights across the floor between sets. The rubber coating feels grippy even when my palms get sweaty, and these have taken a solid beating without any chips so far.
These hex dumbbells sit perfectly still on the floor between sets, which I honestly didn't expect from a rubber-coated pair. The coating feels grippy and solid in my hands, and the pair set I got is exactly the quality I was hoping for.
