The pin holes line up perfectly with my rack’s uprights, so setting the height takes seconds. I’ve tested them with a heavy failed squat and the bar stopped dead without a hint of flex — feels like a solid insurance policy under the bar.
The locking pins slide in and out of the uprights with zero wiggle once they're seated, which is exactly what you want when you're pushing heavy squats. I've dropped the bar on them a couple times already and they haven't budged a millimeter.
Set them up on my rack yesterday and already feel way more confident going heavy on bench alone. The pins slide to exactly the height I need and lock in solid, no wobble when the bar drops on them. Exactly what I needed for safe solo training.
