The knurling is medium enough that my hands don't slip during deadlifts, but it won't tear up your palms either. It's solid and quiet when I rack it, which my downstairs neighbors appreciate. For a 15kg bar, it feels sturdier than I expected for the price.
The 25mm diameter feels just right in my hands, and the knurling holds tight even when my palms get sweaty mid-workout. It’s sturdy enough for heavy deadlifts but still comfortable for pressing. Exactly what my home setup needed.
The medium knurling is aggressive enough that I never worry about grip slipping mid deadlift, but it's still comfortable for overhead pressing. As a 15kg bar, it's the perfect middle weight for my home gym sessions.
