My garage gym setup used to have plates sliding all over the place, but these clips grip the barbell securely even during my heaviest deadlifts. They slide on and off smoothly without any fiddly locking mechanism, which is exactly what you want when you're switching exercises mid-workout.

The tension on these clips is just right—they slide on smooth but lock down tight enough that I don’t worry about plates shifting mid-set. Definitely a solid upgrade from the cheap collars I was using before.

Just used these for the first time on a deadlift session and they gripped the knurling tight from the first rep, no shifting at all even with heavy plates. They’re light to handle but feel solid enough for daily home gym use, which is exactly what I needed.
