Laid this out under my squat rack and the black fleck texture gives it a nice grip while still looking clean. My 500lb barbell drops haven’t left a single dent or tear in the 8mm thickness. It’s heavy to maneuver alone, but once it’s down, it stays put perfectly.

Unrolled it in the garage and the 8mm thickness feels solid under my squat rack—no bounce or give even when I drop the bar. The black fleck texture gives it a grippy surface that my treadmill hasn't budged on in three weeks of daily use.

The black fleck pattern hides chalk dust and scuffs way better than my old plain mats, and unrolling it in the garage took maybe fifteen minutes. It's got a slight rubbery smell for a day or two but that faded fast, and my rack hasn't left a single dent in the 8mm surface.
