Sliding the barbell into this stand after a heavy set is way smoother than wrestling it back onto the J-hooks. It fits the 5000 series rack perfectly and keeps the bar out of the way between exercises. Definitely a solid add-on.
Bolts right into the rack uprights with no wobble, and sliding the bar in and out is effortless. I’ve left it loaded between sets for a week now and it hasn’t budged.
The tube fits snugly into the rack slot with zero wobble, and it's a relief to finally have a dedicated spot to rest the bar between heavy sets instead of leaning it against the wall. Took me about two minutes to install.
