The rubber edge catches the shelf lip just right so the liner doesn’t slide around when I’m grabbing plates. Cutout for the dumbbell rack lines up clean, and it’s thick enough to soften the clang.
Fits the flat 41" shelf perfectly with no sliding around, and the surface grips my dumbbells so they don't roll when I'm grabbing one mid-workout. Wipes down clean after chalk dust gets everywhere. Exactly what I needed to stop things rattling on the metal.
Cut it to match the flat 41" shelf in about two minutes, and the non-slip surface actually keeps dumbbells from sliding around when I grab them. The fit is snug enough that it doesn't bunch up at the edges, which was my main worry.
