Dropped a loaded bar from overhead onto these and barely any noise, plus my garage floor still looks untouched. The rubber coating has held up fine after a few months of regular deadlifts too.

The rubber coating really does mute the clang when I set the bar down between sets, which my downstairs neighbor appreciates. Only gripe is the 45s have a slight rubber smell for the first week or so, but it faded. Solid plates for the price.
